Dear Laura! As we have been taught, an introduction should have a lenght between 5 and 10 lines. You have written 7 lines, therefore, the extension is adequate. On the one hand, you have written a clear thesis statement; this sentence introduce very well the main idea of the whole text and every point you are going to talk about. To sum up, the conclusion also says the main idea and ends up with a wider sentence.
